North Henai

An early-stage gold opportunity in Egypt’s Eastern Desert where field reconnaissance has documented quartz veining, alteration and artisanal workings ahead of systematic sampling and permitting.

Technical context
Visual observations of geology, alteration, artisanal workings or potential mineralisation are not assays and should not be treated as evidence of grade or economic mineralisation.

Important exploration caution
The observations described below are visual field observations. They are not assays, do not establish grade and should not be treated as evidence of economic mineralisation. Systematic sampling and laboratory analysis are required.

May 2026 reconnaissance

Field observations shape the next program.

The amended 28 May 2026 release reported quartz veining and alteration along approximately five kilometres of strike at the Range Prospect, with an observed zone up to approximately 50 metres wide.

The field team also documented current artisanal workings. NME stated that systematic sampling and laboratory assays were planned and that approvals for shallow diamond drilling were being sought.

The project operates under a profit-sharing framework with Egyptian partners Golden Eagle and SMRC. NME’s September 2025 strategy release described NME as operator with a 44% profit share.

Planned work

From observation to verified data.

01

Systematic sampling

Collect representative geological samples across mapped targets.

02

Laboratory analysis

Use assay results—not visual observations—to evaluate gold occurrence.

03

Permitting

Progress the approvals required for shallow diamond drilling.

04

Target refinement

Integrate verified results into the next exploration decision.
